Katy Perry has admitted that she looks like Rocky when she works out.
The ‘Waking Up In Vegas’ singer claimed that she opted for skipping and swimming as the best way to stay fit, taking inspiration from Sylvester Stallone’s titular character.
“Jumping rope and swimming will get you in top shape like that,” Contactmusic quotes her as saying. “Swimming will get you into shape without hurting anything on your body, but I just don’t like to be out in the sun necessarily, so I defer to jump rope. I kind of look like Rocky.”
The star previously learned how to box in a bid to keep in shape, but insisted that she avoided violent conflict.“I’m not a violent person, though I did take boxing lessons from the age of 17. My coach was a Jamaican street fighter, and he once lost an eye in a fight,” she said
“But I would never fight anyone, unless they wanted to hurt my family.”
Perry recently revealed that she jumps around backstage prior to performing in order to ensure that her breasts don’t fall out of her outfit.
