Taylor Swift got a late night phone call from Katy Perry. Perry wanted to leave Swift a funny voicemail and thought she would be asleep. Swift, however, picked up the phone. “I wasn’t going to say anything about that ever!” Swift exclusively told JustJared.com. The call, made last month at 3 or 4am, was said to be a ‘drunk dial’.
Swift added: “I don’t want to tell secrets!” Swift has been getting the strangest of reactions from fellow celebs. Her sudden rise to stardom at the age of 19 may have put their noses out of joint. While receiving an award for best female video clip at MTV’s Video Music Awards, Kanye West jumped on stage to derail her, saying it belonged to Beyonce. Swift, however, took the incident in her stride and graciously accepted both the award and an apology from West.
Speaking ahead of an Australian visit on television today, she said of her reaction to the incident: “I didn’t want to be paranoid or not normal.”
