Katy Perry is a fan of a new range of lipstick that changes colour according to your mood. Her fiancé Russell Brand can tell if she’s feeling romantic just by looking.

The new lipstick – made by American firm Too Faced – is ideal for women who are too shy to take the initiative with their lovers.

A cosmetics industry insider said: “This is not likely to be a problem for Katy and Russell, but more confident couples can have a lot of fun with it.”

The Mood Swing Emotionally Activated Lip Gloss changes from clear to deep crimson by reacting with the wearer’s body chemistry.

The £12 cosmetic comes with a colour chart so men can tell what’s going on.A spokesman for the Sun said: “The colours change depending on your emotional state.”
