Katy Perry blasts fan

Katy Perry has blasted one of her fans for being “disrespectful” towards her fiancé Russell Brand.

The singer got engaged to the British comedian on New Year’s Eve last year following a whirlwind romance. Both have spoken about how happy they are together, and how much they are looking forward to tying the knot later this year.

In recent weeks, Katy has been plagued by a female fan who has been leaving offensive remarks about her relationship on her Twitter page. Katy is a prolific user of the social networking site, and has found being bombarded with the nasty missives difficult to deal with.The person has branded Russell a “disgusting pig”, and after posting a picture of Katy and Russell together wrote: “Disgusting! Absolutely disgusting! That THING with her is so sick.”

The woman even wrote to singer Taylor Swift on the site, begging her to convince Katy to leave Russell.

After the fan left many messages alleging Russell is having affairs, Katy tried to put a stop to it. “Hey can you please stop being so disrespectful? It’s not cool, I would really appreciate it,” she wrote.

However, the woman did not respond well to the comment, and has shown no sign of relaxing her attitude towards the comic. She posted a series of pictures of Katy on the social networking site, with the caption: “It’s not being “disrespectful” @katyperry It’s being loving & caring. I KNOW @rustyrockets is wrong for you. He’s awful, ugly & sick and disgusting! You have to leave him B4 it’s too late, I love you so much and know it’s wrong 4 you to be with him (sic)!”
