Singer Katy Perry has barred her actor fiance Russell Brand from living in his native place England because she wants to live in California, US.
“We won’t be moving to London anytime soon. I’m sure that Russell wants to keep his roots, he’s English and likes being that dapper man so he’s going to want to keep something here. But right now I’m clinging to California,” contactmusic.com quoted Perry as saying.
The California Gurls singer revealed that she is serotonin deficient and hence wants to stay in the sun as much as possible.Serotonin is a hormone responsible for the regulation of mood, appetite, sleep, muscle contraction and some cognitive functions including memory and learning.
“It’s because I’m a serotonin girl. That’s why I live there. Like my serotonin level would fluctuate if the sun doesn’t come out, my personality doesn’t come out.”
The couple is set to marry in October 2010. They have already purchased a $3.5 million mansion in Los Angeles earlier this year.
