Katy Perry reportedly thinks Miley Cyrus is taking a page out of the Britney Spears “fashion donts” handbook.

While backstage at the 2010 MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto last month, Perry had some catty comments for the sexed-up Cyrus’ new, more adult look, according to Life & Style .

“Oh my God, poor girl,” Perry is quoted as confiding to a friend after spotting the “Hannah Montana” star strut by in her new outfits. “She’s Britney Spears all over again. It’s happening right before our eyes.”

According to Life & Style when the friend asked Perry if she thought another former Disney star, Lindsay Lohan, was a better comparison, Perry reportedly retorted:

“No, she’s definitely headed the Britney route. It’s worse. Look at those outfits. It’s bad.”No word yet whether the 17-year-old Cyrus, who last month compared herself to Spears , has any response to Perry’s style salvo.

But some may say Perry is living in a big glass house of her own and shouldn’t be tossing stones in the Disney Channel star’s direction.

The 25-year-old pop star has drawn criticism herself for her questionable fashion sense , which has landed her on several worst-dressed lists since she burst onto the scene with the release of her hit single, “I Kissed a Girl,” in 2008.

“God knows how many times I ended up on the worst-dressed list, but I never care about it,” Perry recently told the British magazine Star . “I just love to wake up and wear whatever my personality feels like wearing.”

Perry, who appears topless in her latest music video for “California Gurls” and in an Esquire UK photo shoot told the mag she is more willing to wear sexy duds because her relationship with her fiancé, British comedian and film star Russell Brand, has her feeling so “empowered.”
