Katy Perry was sure to have had male pulses racing last night as she hit the Big Apple wearing a stunningly tight dress.

The California Gurls star is currently promoting new album Teenage Dream.

And that’s exactly what she looked like in the candy-striped bandage dress than emphasized every one of her enviable curves at the Splash Bar in New York.

With her porcelain skin and brightly-coloured make up, Katy looked like a retro pin-up doll.
But the stunning singer was alone, with husband-to-be Russell Brand too busy filming Arthur to join his fiancee.

The 25-year-old is not only busy promoting her new album, she is also planning a wedding at the same time.

And she admits that hectic schedule is very stressful.Speaking to People magazine, she revealed: ‘Most people have breakdowns just over weddings, and I’m planning mine and my tour.

‘I really have to learn to breathe and delegate.’

And despite her very sexy everyday look, Katy intends to keep it classy on the big day.

‘I’m definitely not going to get married in latex,’ she says.’When I wear latex onstage, I sweat. I could wring out those dresses- and I don’t want to do that at my wedding.’

And although Katy feels she’s too busy to have children right now with Russell, 35, she knows she does want them one day.

‘I see myself as a professional right now and hopefully when I decided it’s time for children, I’ll be able to devote myself to that,’ she tells Britain’s OK! magazine.

But fans of the couple shouldn’t expect them to ever work together, as Katy feels her professional life and personal life shouldn’t overlap.

‘I don’t know. I think that’s always one of those things that can get quite sensitive. There’s a place to be professional and a place to be intimate and some things they can’t co-exist.’

Katy and Russell are due to be married later this year.
