She was dressed in a geek-chic getup for the Teen Choice Awards on the weekend so made use of her outfit behind the scenes with Brand.

And the former lothario seemed to love his girlfriend’s new look as he snuggled up beside her for the Twitter picture.

The I Kissed A Girl singer’s outfit was just one of six costumes she wore as the host of the awards event, at which she won ‘Choice Music: Single’ and ‘Choice Summer Music Song’ for California Gurls.After Brand posted the picture on Twitter, he wrote: ‘The real winner of the Teen Choice awards is…I AM! I won a fantastic new bride.’

The Brit spent the weekend with Perry in Los Angeles before dashing back to New York to carry on filming the Arthur remake with Dame Helen Mirren.
