Katy Perry launches new single via Tap Tap Revenge

Katy Perry is launching her new single, Fireworks, through a bespoke edition of the Tap Tap Revenge game for iPhone.

Gamers downloading Katy Perry Revenge by Bing – which is made available for free and sponsored by Microsoft’s search engine – will have access to the track a week before it goes to radio.

Bing will also be embedded within the game to allow users to search for Katy Perry lyrics and other information.

Tap Tap Revenge developer Tapulous has launched dedicated versions of its game for acts including Coldplay, Metallica, Nirvana, Linkin Park, Kings Of Leon, Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga.

It also launched the Riddim Ribbon game in partnership with Black Eyed Peas in Februray.

Tapulous was acquired by Disney Mobile in July.
