Christina Hendricks and Katy Perry Among Cosmopolitan Winners

Christine Bleakley, Alexandra Burke and Katy Perry were all presented with awards at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Of The Year show. The ceremony was held in London on Wednesday night at the Banqueting House. Its purpose: to honor inspirational women in the media. Bleakly captured the award for Ultimate TV Presenter, according to Digital Spy, while Burke won Ultimate UK Music Star and Perry got the nod for sexiest Sesame Street appearance. Okay, I’m making that up. She actually won for Ultimate International Music Star.In related news, Karen Gillan (Doctor Who) nabbed the Ultimate UK TV Actress award; Gemma Arterton for Ultimate Film Actress; Christina Hendricks for Ultimate U.S. TV Actress; and Nicola Roberts for Ultimate Fashionista.

DS also reports that Fearne Cotton, Sheridan Smith and Crystal Renn were given trophies at the event, while only two guys were recognized–after all, it is Cosmo. They were Dizzee Rascal (Ultimate Man of the Year) and Glee‘s Mark Salling (Ultimate Hottie). Judges included Kimberley Walsh (Girls Aloud), Karren Brady (The Apprentice) and former Mel B (Spice Girls)
