Katy Perry Takes Back #1 Single

Katy Perry reclaimed the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week with her single “Firework.” The track first hit number one the week of December 18 and held on for three straight weeks before falling to number two last week.

This week Katy beat out stiff competition from Bruno Mars, whose current single “Grenade” dropped into the number two spot. Ke$ha held strong at number three, with “We R Who We R,” which appears on her current release Cannibal.

There was no other movement in the top five on this week’s Hot 100 chart, with Rihanna and Drake sticking at number four with “What’s My Name.” Pink also hung onto the number five spot with “Raise Your Glass,” which appears on her new Greatest Hits . . . So Far!!! collection.
