Katy Perry loves ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ and ‘My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding’!

Pop star Katy Perry has told The Sun newspaper that she’s a big fan of reality TV shows, The Only Way Is Essex and My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding.

Of The Only Way Is Essex, Katy said the show was “genius”, and of My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding, she says she loves the massive frocks the show’s stars wear.

She said, “I love The Only Way Is Essex, even though I don’t understand what they’re saying. It’s genius.

“I [also] watch My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding; I want those dresses…

“I watch a lot of English TV.”

And if the newly appointed controller of BBC3 Zai Bennett has his way, Katy could well be starring in a reality TV show of her own…

Last year, Bennett said of Katy, “She’s brilliant, a bullseye person.”

However, when discussing what sort of reality TV show Katy might be offered, he said he “very much doubted it would be an observational documentary.”

Well I for one am rather glad about that; an “observational documentary” sounds as dull as ditch water!
