Justin Bieber and Katy Perry win at Nickleodeon Kids’ Choice Awards

Bieber’s girlfriend Selena Gomez, 18, was awarded Favourite TV Actress for Wizards of Waverly Place and Cyrus, also 18, won Favourite Movie Actress for her role in The Last Song.

Among the other major award winners were Johnny Depp, who won Favourite Male Actor for his role in Alice in Wonderland, Dylan Sprouse for Best TV Actor in The Suite Life on Deck and The Karate Kid, which won Favourite Movie.

Upon accepting his award at the USC Galen Centre, Depp sprayed the audience with a slime blaster, website People reported.

“You guys are the future,” the 47-year-old told the crowd before unleashing the slime. “Take good care of us.”Other winners included Justin Timberlake with The Big Help Award, Jackie Chan for Favourite Butt-kicker and American Idol for Favourite Reality Show.

Timberlake was not honored for his music or acting, but for his charity work, having supported Shriners Hospitals for Children since 2008 and hosting an annual PGA golf tournament that raises money for children in need.

“I want to dedicate this to all of you very cool, very loud kids,” Timberlake said. “This is your world.”
