Selena Gomez is inspired by Katy Perry and Cheryl Cole

Selena Gomez recently spoke to English newspaper, The Evening Standard about her music career. Gomez was recently in England performing in London with Allstar Weekend.

Selena Gomez opened up to the newspaper about her singing career, inspirations and her music and revealed that she is most inspired by the musicians Katy Perry and Cheryl Cole. It was also revealed that Katy Perry gave her the track for the song Rock God that is on her album.They also asked her if she preferred acting or singing and she replied: “Sometimes I wake up and I love music and other days I wake up and I love movies and acting. At the moment, I don’t really know but when I get older, I am probably just going to stick to acting.”

I think lots of fans would love to hear Selena Gomez and her boyfriend Justin Bieber collaborate on a pop song and I hope they do so soon!!! I’m also a bit surprised that she listed Cheryl Cole as someone who inspires her, I’d like to know why?
