Katy Perry `unaware of problem with Sesame Street outfit`

Katy Perry has admitted that she didn’t even realise that there was a problem with her controversial Sesame Street outfit.

Footage of the star performing a child-friendly version of her hit Hot N Cold with Elmo had to be dropped after parents saw the promo pictures and complained about her low-cut dress.

However, the 26-year-old said that if anyone had told her that there was an issue with her clothes, she would simply have gone and put a different outfit on.

She told Vanity Fair, ‘They (TV bosses) didn’t tell me there was a problem. We had 15 outfits to choose from. I would have just gone and changed.’
