Katy’s so jealous about Russell’s previous flings with air hostesses that she’s reluctant to be served by them

Frequent flyer Katy Perry is reluctant to be served by female flight attendants – in case she comes eye-to-eye with one of her husband Russell Brand’s old flames.

Katy doesn’t approve of his penchant for air hostesses – as before they got together he dated at least three.

A source said: ‘When Katy flew on a Virgin flight to the UK, it seemed she preferred not to be served by females.

She’s jealous because she heard her husband once gave his phone number to a hostess on the back of a sick bag. On her last flight a female pilot came over to say hello, which was bearable, but she’s not so keen on the hostesses.’

In his bachelor days, Russell, 36, dated Virgin stewardess Erika Parandine after they met on a flight to LA. She dumped him after learning of his dalliances with two of her colleagues.

Pop queen Katy, 26, clearly has Russell under control – they celebrate their first  wedding anniversary today.

A spokesman for Katy said: ‘Such assertions are false.’

Russell’s last serious relationship since he married Katy Perry was with 33 year old Erika Parandine whom he dated for 11 months after meeting her on a flight to Los Angeles.

She dumped in May 2008 after learning of two other of his airborne dalliances with her colleagues.

At the time she said: I’m not the kind of girl who would discuss these things. But let’s just say I’m boycotting his film now and have banned all my friends from seeing it.

‘I guess I should be surprised it hasn’t happened earlier.’
